Before HTML 5, form field placeholders were a hard feature to implement.

FieldHints is an older Prototype class for supporting placeholders, showing a small text inside the form field itself (inline form labels).

A demo is included with the download package.

FieldHints 1.1 is a script for Forms and Controls scripts design by Paul Dowman. It runs on following operating system: Windows / Linux / Mac OS / BSD / Solaris and has as system requierments: JavaScript enabled on client side Prototype .
